See more photos Welcome to the Hop Discovery Trail in Wingersheim, a unique experience that lets you immerse yourself in the world of hop cultivation in Alsace! Whether you’re curious, a nature lover, or simply looking to unwind, this trail promises a walk full of surprises.
To suit every preference and accommodate your pace, there are three different ways to explore the trail:
On foot, at your own pace: starting from Place des Acacias, follow the trail markers along the way. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy the picturesque, hop-filled landscapes of Wingersheim.
On a guided tour aboard a towed trailer: meet at the village’s municipal workshops on Rue du Stade for a unique and friendly tour; hop aboard the trailer (minimum 10 people, by reservation) and let a passionate guide tell you the story of hops. A fun and comfortable way to discover this unique heritage!
Every Wednesday during the summer at 9:30 a.m., take a guided walking tour: meet at the same location—the municipal workshops on Rue du Stade—no reservation required—for a walk led by a local guide who will reveal all the secrets of hops and hop farming. A moment of sharing and discovery guaranteed!
Whether you choose the freedom of a self-guided tour, the tranquility of the trailer ride, or the camaraderie of a guided tour, one thing is certain: the Hop Trail will offer you an authentic and rejuvenating experience in the heart of nature.
