A true story of the return of a "Malgré-Nous" in 1946, directed by Serge Schleiffer and produced by the AMIFILM association, with Raphaël Lye and Émilie Gueret in the two leading roles. In 1943, Eugène, an Alsatian in a German uniform, and his brothers-in-arms were targeted by the Russians in a forest in Smolensk. He was taken prisoner.
In 1946, Eugène returned to his native village and inherited his late aunt's farm. He becomes the neighbor of a woman who, since the Liberation, has had to live in isolation. Together, they discover a sad secret.
