Les Heures Musicales du Kochersberg : No Slide Brass Sextet
7 march 2026
| Saturday | 20:00 → 22:00 |
Bringing together some of the most dynamic musicians of the new generation, No Slide is a unique formation created around the instruments of the valve brass family invented and perfected in Paris by inventor Adolphe Sax in the second half of the 19th century. Thanks to the subtle alliance of cornets and saxhorns, No Slide offers a singular sound, combining virtuosity, flexibility and richness of timbre.
Linked by a complicity born at the Paris Conservatoire, the members of No Slide are today members of the most prestigious French ensembles (Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre National d'île-de-france, Orchestre de la Garde républicaine, Orchestre de la musique de l'air et de l'espace).
For the past ten years, No Slide has been performing at numerous festivals with a real passion and an ambitious desire to pass on their work. Having already explored the richness of French music, with works by Rameau, Gounod and Ravel, the ensemble is now broadening its horizons with a new project inspired by European folklore, marking a new stage in its artistic adventure.
