With his "Revisiting Grappelli" project, violinist Mathias Lévy pays a vibrant and audacious tribute to one of the giants of jazz: Stéphane Grappelli. On stage, he brings back to life the elegant swing and melodic richness of this pioneer of jazz violin, in a string trio, in an acoustic formula that is both faithful and resolutely contemporary.



At his side, two high-flying accomplices: Jean-Philippe Viret, a double bassist of rare finesse and former accompanist to Grappelli himself, provides the rhythmic anchoring and harmonic elegance.
