19 september 2026
| Saturday | 09:00 → 13:00 |
On Friday, September 18th, Lechner Farm will welcome 120 preschool and elementary school children. It will then open its doors to the general public on Saturday, September 19th. Two guided tours will be offered at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., followed by a tasting of farm products. The new farm shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Specializing in foie gras production in Alsace, Lechner Farm raises male Mulard ducks as well as geese. The animals arrive at the farm when they are just one day old and are fed corn and wheat produced on-site. Fattening begins at 14 weeks of age.
The farm also has a traditional smokehouse and offers fresh products, preserves, and a selection of items from local producers in its shop.
