On Saturday, August 29 (starting at 5 p.m.) and Sunday, August 30 (starting at 10 a.m.), Ittenheim celebrates the Flammekueche Fecht, the big festival of tarte flambée and Alsatian traditions!



Originating on the farms of the Kochersberg-Ackerland region in the Middle Ages, tarte flambée takes center stage as it should: handmade on-site, using local ingredients and cooked over a wood fire to capture the full authenticity of this iconic specialty.



Throughout the weekend, enjoy live music, plenty of activities for kids, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to share with family or friends. On Saturday night, it’s time for an ’80s-themed party with free admission!



A festive culinary event not to be missed, celebrating one of the most beautiful symbols of Alsatian heritage!
