I'm a young woman from Alsace who moved to Paris to work as a maid, cook or nanny. The bosses describe us Alsatians as active, clean and honest. I came back to the village with new ideas and a better command of French. I've become independent and even enterprising. Well-dressed, modern, hard-working, I intend to marry well or have a career. I'm going to introduce new habits to my family and friends, cook tasty meals and keep a close eye on my children's schooling.
